For all surfers and those that want to give surfing a try, go with an itinerary that allows you to make the most of the waves while you’re there for the weekend!

Begin your first day with a hearty breakfast at the hipster Crate Cafe, and then head out for a morning surf at Canggu. Enjoy authentic local fare at a local restaurant for lunch, and onto an afternoon surf session before the sun sets, and then it’s time to bring out the cocktails.

If you’re still itching to get on a wave, get up early for a dawnie session before breakfast on the second day, and you’ll have enough time for another surf session before saying goodbye to the beautiful beach.

2. 3 Ways to do Bali – Wellness retreat at Canggu

For those who aren’t hardcore surfers, here’s another way to enjoy the coastal district of Canggu. This district boasts beautiful green paddy fields, fresh air and black sand beaches, providing a great spot for a healing getaway.

Start your morning at Bali Fit, where you can choose from a variety of courses such as yoga, boxing and cardio. They also have an in-house cafe which serves up healthy treats like quinoa breakfast bowls. (Bali Fit is permanently closed) An equally nutritious spot for lunch is at Milk & Madu, with skillet eggs and sourdough, Kombucha teas and more.

Then, spend the rest of the day partaking in horseback riding, tennis, or swimming before ending off with a barbeque dinner.

For the next day, after yoga and some pooltime, take a few moments to pamper yourself. Shop at Bungalow Living to bring some Balinese vibes back to your home, have an indulgent spa session at Gold Dust Spa, and enjoy the sunset with an ice cold beer.

3. 3 Ways to do Bali – Enjoy the waters and unwind at Nusa Lembongan

Bali has become really popular, so heading out to Nusa Lembongan is a good way to escape the crowds.

Enjoy the best of nature at the idyllic Nusa Lembongan. For a start, being surrounded by the ocean makes it a great place to experience water sports, whether it’s swimming, snorkelling, surfing, diving or others. You can even snorkel with manta rays with Manta Snorkeling Tours!

To treat yourself after a morning of sports, head to the oceanfront Glo Spa to wind down, and have a meal at the Sandy Bay Beach Club while watching the sunset.

If you’re up early the next day, you can go for a sunrise yoga session before breakfast at the funky Tigerlily’s, where you can have your meal within an Instagram-worthy tropical garden setting.

Once you’ve had your fill, head out for some beach-hopping to explore the sandy beaches that the island has to offer!
