Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle (image credit: Hungrygowhere)
Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle is well-known for having perhaps the best Teochew-style minced pork noodles (what locals call ‘bak chor mee’) in Singapore. The springy noodles, vinegary sauce, tender minced pork and liver slices, and juicy dumplings combine to give you a delicious experience for a portion of restaurant prices.
The $5-$10 price point is still pretty steep for a hawker stall, but considering the array of ingredients and the one Michelin-star that it was awarded, the noodles are worth a try.
