The newest extension of the Nosh & Co. brand, Noshery joins Country Kitchen and Greenhouse at their verdant location within Rochester Park. Botanical wallpapers and the wooden decor mimic the look of a cabin in the woods, while vintage lampshades add a rustic touch to the cosy interior. This peaceful brunch spot provides gorgeous photo backdrops at every turn, whether it’s a flatlay of your Instagram-worthy meal or an OOTD shot against their beautifully decorated walls.

Address: 9 Rochester Park, 139220

Opening hours:

Tues to Thurs 6-10.30pm

Fri 6-11pm

Sat 10.30am-3pm, 6-11pm

La Marelle Cafe is right in the middle of the bustling Arab Street, a cultural enclave that has been a popular hipster hangout spot in recent years. Aside from their delicious cold brews, this cafe is known for having one of the most distinctive interiors of the cafes in the area, with their walls painted in bright colours and covered in whimsical murals. Photo backdrops are everywhere in this cafe– even the ceiling and bathroom door aren’t spared from the playful paintings.

Address: 25 Baghdad St, Singapore 199664

Opening hours:

Mon to Sun 10am-11pm

3. Non Entree Desserts

Whitewashed brick walls and patterned floor tiles that provide perfect backdrops for your selfies, or a #fromwhereistand coffee shot if you so wish. But no matter where you stand, it’s difficult to take a bad picture at Non Entree Desserts. The cafe is also known for their inventive dessert creations, inspired by local Singaporean culture (think sweet treats that look misleadingly like minced pork noodles and soft-boiled eggs), and every bit as Instagrammable as their decor.

Address: 204 Rangoon Rd, Hong Building, 218451

Opening hours:

Tues to Thurs 2-10pm

Fri 2-11pm

Sat 12-11pm

Sun 12-10pm

4. The LoKal

The LoKal was started by a local Aussie chef, who decided to put a twist on the classic Aussie cafe, with a hint of German influence (inspired by the Goethe-Institut Singapore that’s right beside). The result is a casual eatery that is laid-back and homely, using homemade ingredients to whip up some of their best dishes like the crowd-favourite Toasted Banana Bread. For those who take their Instagramming very seriously, here’s a tip: seats by the bookshelf (pictured above) and bar counter give you the best-looking snaps.

Address: 136 Neil Rd, 088865

Opening hours:

Thurs 8am-10pm

Fri 8am-10pm

Sat 9am-10pm

5. Boufe Boutique Cafe

Nestled deep (no kidding- this cafe is at the opposite end of the entrance) within Phoenix Park, Boufe Boutique Cafe is a minimalist’s dream. From the nostalgic swing by the door to the tables and lighting fixtures inside, almost everything seems to be either white or black at this cafe. In particular, the white tables are perfect for making those food #flatlays pop, as the colours of the dainty pastries and iced coffees stand out beautifully against the sleek white background.

Address: 308 Tanglin Rd, Phoenix Park, #01-01, 247974

Opening hours:

Tues to Fri 8am-10pm

Sat to Sun 10am-10pm
