Located along the hip Club Street, Cugini is a quaint little Italian place, decked out in white and shades of sky blue, which vaguely reminds us of the picturesque Santorini. But before we get carried away with thoughts of a holiday, we have to mention how delicious the pizzas at Cugini are.

The La Bufalina is perhaps the simplest pizza on the menu, but it packs a sumptuous punch. Even though it just has tomato sauce, basil, and a dollop of of buffalo mozzarella, these fresh ingredients come together so well it makes you wonder if pizza needs any other toppings at all. Apart from that, meat lovers should try the Crudo e Rucola, with a heap of Pharma ham on top.

Motorino Pizza is a casual, neighbourhood pizzeria from The Big Apple. Fittingly, the walls of this well-lit space is adorned with pictures of pizza and New York, with a fascinating open kitchen where you have full view of the huge pizza oven where your meal gets cooked.

While more and more pizza spots are offering the thin crust version, Motorino is well-loved for their amazingly doughy and chewy crust, which is totally worth braving the Clarke Quay area crowds for. The folks at Motorino can even make brussel sprouts taste good– brussel sprouts is one of their popular signature toppings! If that isn’t a good pizza, we don’t know what is.
