Commonly referred to as ‘the most important meal of the day’, we believe that breakfasts can also be the best meal on special days- with these fantastic buffet breakfasts in Singapore! Is there a better reason to wake up for?

1. Spago

Located on Level 57 of the Marina Bay Sands hotel, the ambiance at Spago by Wolfgang Puck is hard to beat. The only two time winner of the prestigious ‘Outstanding Chef of the Year’ award brought his talent to Singapore in 2010 with Cut, a restaurant famous for its steaks. Opening in 2015 next to the infinity pool, Spago offers a different experience. The restaurant’s sophisticated interior matches its Californian cuisine- each dish served with a global twist.

2. The Knolls

Known first and foremost for its gorgeous grounds, The Knolls at Capella hotel takes you far from the bustle of the city. Surrounded by lush greenery, you’ll feel relaxed and at ease whilst enjoying a selection of dishes from various cuisines. Enjoy refreshing cocktails as a live band plays from table to table, and don’t be surprised if the resident peacocks make an entrance!

Good bread is always important in a breakfast buffet, but have you ever tried making your own? Watch how we did it here!

3. Town Restaurant

Town Restaurant is the ideal space to sit by the river and enjoy the morning air. Taking pride in featuring Eastern and Western flavours, its extensive menu also offers vegetarian and gluten-free fare. Try one of their delicious ‘Fullerton Heritage Signatures’ whilst feasting your eyes on an unobstructed view of the Singapore River.

4. Colony

Colony’s multiple conservatory kitchens lay out mouthwatering servings of fresh foods in a bright, airy environment. The luxurious array of seafood from The Ice Bar will impress any seafood lover, whilst The Steam Basket offers a delicious range of piping hot dim sum. If neither are to your liking, try some chilli crab from The Wok, or taste some cognac-infused Lobster Bisque from The Grill and Rotisserie, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

5. Carousel

Winning the title of Best Buffet Restaurant for 7 consecutive years, the buffet at Carousel is hard to beat. Its vast seafood collection is enough to make anyone drool, as well as its 3 dessert counters full of sweet treats. What takes the cake however, is the warm and friendly service staff. Always taking the initiative to ensure their patrons are happy, we left feeling satisfied and well taken care of.

6. Beach Road Kitchen

This new addition to the Singapore food scene is the all day dining outlet of the rebranded JW Marriott Singapore South Beach. Located on the tower next to the hotel Beach Road Kitchen serves one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever seen in an airy environment. There are live stations preparing pancakes and waffles, a wood oven baking goodies and a Chinese noodle stall. The pastries are to die for as is the hyper large selection of antipasti, several types of flavoured smoked salmon, fresh coconuts and juices made with any vegetable or fruit and even ice cream. Did we mention the candy bar with gummy bears galore? That too. Indulge like it’s always Sunday.
