1. Verre Modern Bistro and Wine Bar

Verre is an elegant and contemporary wine bar offering a delectable range of handpicked wines, particularly ones from France. The bar stocks 750 labels from Bordeaux and Burgundy, as Today reports. And the establishment places its wines front and center –literally– with a glass cellar right in the middle of the restaurant, displaying its wine collection in all its glory.

With a white onyx cellar and a Japanese cedar bar counter, La Terre is a sleek and modern space that is located near Clarke Quay. Accessible yet uncrowded, this classy bar may be situated around Singapore’s most popular nightlife area, but it’s hush-hush enough that it is hidden away from the hustle and bustle.

This wine and whisky bar definitely has more than enough ammunition to get you tipsy. Most of the wine menu at La Terre is made up of old-world wines from France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and even Lebanon and Greece.

Napoleon Food & Wine Bar is the perfect place to go with a group of friends, to sample some premium European wines, and share a cold cut or cheese platter on a Friday night.

Hidden in the heart of Singapore’s famed shopping belt of Orchard Road, Caveau Bar is located along the street of Shaw Centre. Despite it’s location, this wine bar manages to maintain a speakeasy vibe and is relatively underrated.

A coffee joint by day, Caveau turns into a wine bar when the sun goes down. From 5pm onwards, award-winning sommeliers who will tell you all about their selection of fine wines, from white wines like the Louis Moreau to red wines like the Vincent Girardin. And like the previous bar, they have an Enomatic Elite wine dispenser that allows you to choose from 3 different serving volumes of your desired wine.
